The whole components shall withstand to the following requirements:
1) 100,000 cycles of ＾X￣ lbs. of alternate compression with ＾Y￣ lbs. of the traction load applied throughout the ball terminal assembled of a normal manner. Cycle ratio of 20-40 cycles per minute. During the cyclical test of the terminal load each terminal is rotated 360＜ to 3 rpm and oscillated through the internal angle of 30＜ while insert a calcium chloride and mud solution.
(Process MF number 902) about each terminal (protection case normally assembled). In the end of this test should not present structural flaws and the joint should not present gap higher than 1/23 from each side.
2) Load test of ＾Z￣ lbs. traction and compression without flaws or stretching evidences, close to the clamp of adjust of the pipe coupling.
3) Excepting the protection case of the conical stud and the galvanized parts, the components shall be washed in order to remove the whole dust, rust, scale, oil, grease, etc., and also be painted with Primer MF 1006. |
