The DCN Automatic Camera Control software is designed to connect DCN congress systems with the BOSCH Allegiant series of video control switchers. It selects fixed or pre-positioned cameras (i.e. BOSCH dome models) and activates them to display the current active speaker at a conference.  

 

As soon as a chairman or delegate microphone is activated on the DCN equipment, the camera assigned thereto will be activated. In case no microphone is activated, an overview camera will be selected automatically and the image can be displayed on hall displays or other monitors together with information about the current speaker if required (i.e. delegate identification). The system operator has a monitor, on which the information about the activated camera is displayed. This system provides an extra dimension to congress and conference proceedings. With a maximum of 256 cameras, as many as 1500 delegate positions can be covered.
