职位描述
Location: Shanghai
Position Summary:
The Translator (Commercial) will assist with business and market development activities by providing both written and oral translation of business and financial related documents, meetings and other business activities.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents into the required language ensuring accuracy and completeness of the translated documents and submit it to the line manager by the deadline
- Proofread and edit the translated version from outsourced translations
- Revise and edit the document as needed, change formats or add graphics if needed
- Invoice and collect fees for translation services provided and enter into contract with companies on an ongoing basis or a contract-by-contract basis for translation services.
- Research information on Energy/Waste-to-Energy and keep up with the latest laws, regulations, technologies and advancements in the area
- Assist with other duties as assigned
This position will report to the VP Corporate Development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Energy/ Power/ Automatic/ Electronics/ Mechanic/ Environmental Engineering + Minimum of 5 y of proven translation experience in a multinational environment + experience with the energy sector strongly preferred OR Bachelor Degree or above in English + Preferably 5 y of proven translation experience in the energy or engineering sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
- Excellent Time Management skills an ability to work under pressure for deadlines
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Fluent in using several word processing (Word, Excel, PPT, Autocad), publishing and graphic design programs
- Mature with sense of responsibility, priority and confidentiality
- Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and able to accompany senior management for business trips in China if required
