17.1 买方有权要求卖方考虑对设备或服务进行变更，包括修改、变动或增加。如果买方希望进行变更，买方应该用书面形式通知卖方。在收到该通知后15日内，卖方应通知买方所要求变更的可行性，并提交变更草案。
17.1 Purchaser has a right to ask seller to consider the change of equipment or service, including amendment, variation and increment. If purchaser wants any change, purchaser should inform seller in written. In 15 days after receives notice, seller should inform feasibility of change required to purchaser and submit draft of change.

17.2 如果卖方希望进行变更，则应向买方提交变更草案。变更草案的内容包括：(i)拟订变动的技术说明，根据买方的合理要求要足够详细；(ii)拟订变动中可能有的合同价格调整（增加或减少）；(iii) 拟订变动引起的、对完工时间或任何其他进度或卖方合同项下履行日期可能产生的所有潜在影响；(iv) 拟定变动引起的、对卖方遵守本合同项下责任的能力可能产生的所有潜在影响，包括卖方保证和履约担保。
17.2 If seller wants change, seller should submit draft of change to purchaser. The content of draft of change includes: (i) Technical explanation of change wanted, which should be in sufficient detail according to requirement of purchaser. (ii) Presumable change (increase or decrease) in price with change wanted.(iii) All potential impact on time of completion, any other schedule or performance time. (iv) All potential impact on the ability to observe duty for seller, including seller guarantee and performance guarantee.

17.3 签订变更的程序：买方应该在收到该信息后10日内确定以书面形式批准或不批准变更草案，或要求更多的时间来考虑变更草案。如果买方批准了变更， 则买方和卖方应该签定变更，作为本合同的修改。
17.3 The procedure of signature of change: purchaser should confirm warrant or disapproval of the draft of change in 10 days after receives information, or ask for more time to consider it. If purchaser warrants the change, purchaser and seller should sign for the change, as amendment of this contract.

17.4 本合同项下的所有变动（包括要求卖方推迟生产、交货、安装、调试、可靠性运行）都应该经合同双方同意，合同双方签字前任何变更都不生效。
17.4 All changes of this contract (including requirement of delaying production, delivery, installation, debugging and reliability operation) should be accepted by both sides. Any change is invalid before both sides sign for it.

17.5 买方有权在任何时候以书面方式通知卖方中止现场工作, 如该中止非卖方过错原因造成, 该中止造成的任何卖方损失 (包括存放费用) 应该由买方在卖方提交发票时支付。卖方履行责任时间相应顺延，以克服该中止造成的影响。
17.5 Purchaser has a right to inform seller to suspend fieldwork in written. If this suspension is not due to seller, all loss of seller due to this suspension (including stowage) should be disbursed by purchaser when seller submits invoice. The performance time for seller is postponed correspondingly to overcome the influence of this suspension.

17.6  买方无权中止卖方设备制造。
17.6 Purchaser has no right to suspend the equipment manufacture of seller.
