二、项目地区及目标人群
（一）项目地区
项目地区的选择考虑在我国艾滋病流行相对严重、已有开展预防艾滋病母婴传播工作基础的中央补助地方经费覆盖地区。结合CHAI在中国的项目基础，在广西、云南、新疆三省（自治区）中确定6个项目地（市、州）的6个县（市），具体如下：
广西壮族自治区 南宁市、柳州市（分别各选1个县）
云南省 红河州、德宏州？（分别各选1个县）
新疆维吾尔自治区 伊犁州伊宁市？、乌鲁木齐市？（选择1个县（市））
（二）目标人群
项目地区所有孕产妇均为项目的目标人群，项目地区的艾滋病病毒感染孕产妇及所生儿童和家庭是项目的重点目标人群。

Two. Areas of Program and Targeted Population
（One）Areas of Program
The selection of areas of program takes into consideration of those areas with relatively serious epidemic situation of AIDS and with the subsidy from the central government for prevention of mother-to-child transmission of AIDS. Considering the basis of the program of CHAI in China, six counties (cities) in six areas (cities, prefectures) in Guangxi Autonomous Region, Yunnan province and Xinjiang Autonomous Region are determined. The specific areas are as following:
Guangxi Autonomous Region Nanning city, Liuzhou city (one respective county is chosen)
Yunnan Province Honghe prefecture, Dehong prefecture (one respective county is chosen)
Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region Yili prefecture, Yining city, Urumqi city (one county (city) is chosen)
（Two）Targeted Population
All the pregnant women in the areas of program are the targeted population and the pregnant women with HIV infection and the children they bear and their families are the key targeted population.
