Beijing Chinese Subtitling Translation Service Agency has translated many technical documents about Fiber Cable to Control Station and Switchbox Cable.
CAUTIONS 1. Fiber Cable to Control Station: The operator must use the vehicle cameras to make certain that the fiber cable does not become caught in the vehicle tracks. This could result in severing of the cable causing loss of control and system failure. 2. Switchbox Cable: When operating the ANDROS F6A, with the switchbox connected directly to the vehicle, the operator must make certain that the interconnecting cable (pendant cable) does not become caught in the vehicle tracks. Damage to the electronics could occur if the cable is severed. 3. Control Station Power: 120 VAC and/or 12 VDC can be present inside the control console. Caution must be applied with any operations inside the control console or with external power connections. 4. Vehicle Power: 24 VDC can be present inside the robot vehicle. Caution must be applied with any maintenance operations. 5. Radio System: Do not turn the power on to the console or vehicle without the antennas installed. Failure to do so will electrically damage the wireless components. 6. Shotgun: When using the shotgun, the operator must be aware of the location of the gripper and wrist pitch to avoid damaging them. 7. ESD: Proper handling of electronic components must be used to prevent damage due to (E.S.D.) electrostatic discharge. 8. Changing the Battery: Ensure vehicle power switch is in the off position prior to disconnecting the Battery Assembly. This could cause sever damage to the vehicle. 9. Lifting Capacity: Do not exceed weight limits with manipulator arm. This could cause severe damage to the arm and will void the warranty of system. The limits are 15 lbs. at full extension and 45 lbs. three feet from the shoulder/torso joint. 10. Stowing Arm: Care must be taken when stowing the arm to ensure that the shoulder and the elbow do not cause damage to the vehicle, arm, or both. Use the Surveillance Camera to park the arm in the arm on all down stops. 11. Proper Vehicle Alignment On Stairs: Stop immediately if the vehicle turns during ascent/descent and use the drive joystick carefully to apply corrective action to straighten the vehicle on the stairs. This judgment can best be made by visually checking the distance between the left track and the edge of the stairs using the surveillance camera. 12. Lifting Heavy Objects: Always lower the front auxiliary tracks to contact the ground when lifting a heavy object to prevent the vehicle from tipping forward. 13. Cam Lock: Be sure the cam lock on the Accessory Interface is fully engaged before firing the weapon. Failure to do so could cause injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
