5-15.9. Articulator Amplifier. The front and rear articulator amplifier circuits control the front and rear lift track motors. The circuit receives input or command signals from the relay board. It interprets those signals and sends appropriate output signals to the lift track motors in the front and rear of the robot. The lift track motors move up or down according to the voltage, current and polarity that they receive from the articulator amplifiers. 5-15.10. Circuit Breakers. All of our robots contain circuit breakers. Depending upon the robot model you have purchased, the circuit breakers have different label numbers. You can reference the vehicle layout drawing to find the number and location of each one. 5-15.11. Batteries. The robot battery powered system has a 12 volt DC battery on the control console and a 24 volt DC battery assembly in the vehicle. In both cases, the batteries must be fully charged to get optimum performance. Damaged or not fully charges batteries will cause problems in the system. For voltage readings on the 12 volt system and the 24 volt system, a voltmeter can be used or the voltage level is displayed on the video monitor. To check the voltage level on the 24 volt system with a voltmeter, it must be connected to the arm weapon circuit and then the circuit must be activated to read the voltage level. A fully charged 12 volt system must read 12.7 volts or greater and a 24 volt system must read 25.4 volts or greater. Any system showing less should be charged to obtain maximum performance.
