6. 维护
6-1. 操作人员的例行维护
每次执行任务之后，操作人员应对 ANDROS F6A 系统进行如下检查：
A. 检查所有电缆有无破口和磨损。
B. 检查所有外螺钉和螺母的紧度，包括固定螺钉。特别要注意检查用来固定四个辅助张紧滚轮组合装置（图纸 E-2450-1000 上的项目4）的螺钉。如果最近用机械手提升过重物，还应特别注意检查机械手的所有螺钉和螺母。
C.检查六条轨道，是否有损坏/磨损，去除沙砾、泥土等异物。
D. 用开关盒控制器对车体的全部功能，在整个行程范围内进行操作，确认性能。
E. 清洗车体摄像机和控制台上的玻璃盖板。
F. 激活各个武器电路，确保整个武器电路功能正常。在武器电路的终端，用电压表检查确认。

         警告
        电池试验或充电时，注意连线极性要正确。如果极性接反了，充电器上的红色指示灯就会点亮，指示“电池接反”。只须将充电器从 110 伏交流电源中拔出，反向，再插入。充电器是“智能充电器”，意味着它可以解读电池，产生足够的充电电压，但不会给电池过度充电。对于操作过程来说，重要的是，在将 110 伏交流电源与充电器相连之前，首先要将充电器连接到电池上。

6-1.  ROUTINE OPERATOR MAINTENANCE.  The operator should perform the following inspection of the ANDROS F6A after every mission:
 
A.  Inspect all cables for cuts and wear damage.
 
B.  Inspect all external screws and nuts for tightness including retaining screws.  Pay particular attention to the screws used to attach the four Auxiliary Tension Roller Assemblies (item 4 on drawing E-2450-1000) to the Articulate Braces. Particular attention should also be paid to all manipulator screws and nuts if the manipulator has been used for recent heavy lifting.
 
C.  Inspect the six tracks for damage/wear and remove foreign matter such as gravel, mud, etc.
 
D.  Operate all vehicle functions through the complete range of travel from the switchbox controls and verify performance.
 
E.  Clean glass cover plates on vehicle cameras and control console.
 
F.  Activate each weapons circuit to ensure proper functioning of the entire weapons circuit.  Confirm with voltmeter at weapons circuit terminals.
 
WARNING
Observe correct polarity of connections when testing or charging batteries.  If polarity is reversed, the RED light on charger illuminates indicating "Battery Reversed."  Simply unplug charger from 110 VAC source, reverse connections and re-plug.  Chargers are "Smart Chargers" meaning they read the batteries and produce adequate voltage to charge, but NOT over-charge the battery.  It is very important to the cycle that the charger is connected to the battery first before applying 110 VAC to charger.
